About NMHG
NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. ("NMHG") designs, engineers and manufactures materials handling equipment for virtually every market niche, including warehouse trucks, counterbalanced trucks and large capacity cargo and container handling trucks. All lift trucks are marketed under the Hyster®, Yale® or Sumitomo-Yale® brand names. NMHG is one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers. In addition to a worldwide distribution network of independent Hyster® and Yale® retail dealerships, NMHG operates wholly-owned dealerships in certain markets.
NMHG is one of the three core businesses in the diversified holdings of NACCO Industries, Inc., a publicly-held company with headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
Today the people and facilities that make up NACCO Materials Handling Group do not support just one product line or brand, but can flexibly respond to demands of several product lines, regardless of brand. This centralized efficiency now makes us one of the industry's lowest cost producers of lift trucks and components, including replacement parts for other manufacturers' trucks.
As a result, our marketing affiliates - Hyster Company and Yale Materials Handling Corp. - can order from us and deliver to their customers distinctively different product lines bearing one common trait: the best value in the industry.
The names Hyster and Yale reflect leadership traditions in materials handling that date from the 19th century. Through advanced technologies, skilled employees, and a management committed to success, NACCO Materials Handling Group is building on those traditions.
Our name will not appear on the lift truck products we build, but our work will continue to make the Hyster and Yale names hallmarks of leadership in the 21st century as well.
